What role was played by the students' employers?
Some students were selected by their organizations and directed to the Loyola MBA for Executives at Carthage; others were advised to get an MBA and chose this program; and still others came on their to explore the program, then approached their employers for sponsorship.
Sponsorship includes both a financial commitment as well as a time commitment.
The level of financial participation varies. Some organizations pay part or all of the fees up front, while others reimburse the students a fixed percentage of what the student has paid. The latter merely apply their standard tuition reimbursement policy to this program.
All firms understand the time commitment made by their employees and free them for the necessary time away from the office.
