Directions to Carthage from I-94
- If you are driving south on I-94 from the Milwaukee area, exit I-94 at Highway E and turn left (east).
- If you are driving north on I-94 from Illinois, exit I-94 at Highway E as well, and turn right (east) to head toward campus.
- You will drive 7 miles on Highway E. You will go through several stopsigns and a stoplight. Continue on Highway E until it ends in a T intersection. The adjoining road in this T intersection is Sheridan Road (Highway 32). Turn right (south) onto Sheridan Road (Highway 32).
- You will head south on Sheridan Road for one mile before the Carthage campus appears on your left. At this point Sheridan Road becomes Alford Park Drive. Look for the set of flagpoles out front and the Carthage sign. (These are featured in the map above (#2) and you can view a photo of them here.) Turn in at this entrance. The drive will first take you east over a red bridge, then bend to the right to continue south through the campus. The Hedberg Library (#17) will be on your right. Guest parking is available directly across from Lentz Hall (#13) as well as south of the chapel (I).
